I've got the original P365 and the XL.After looking at and playing with the magazines it looks like SIG uses the same body for the .380 magazines that they use for the 9mm magazines. The .380 magazines just have a spacer inside the back of the magazine body and the follower is shorter so that the shorter cartridges are held forward inside the magazine. Back in January 2018 when Sig pulled the first release of the P365 one of the changes made to the P365 was the Recoil Spring along with the addition of the X-Ray3 Sights. With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. On others, only when it's charged. 2) Sig made some changes to the FCU couple of years back and new models apparently only allow the MS lever to be engaged only when gun is charged. So I got a sig P365 with a born date of 7/24/2018, anyone experiencing any issues with the same or around the same DOB? Haven't had a chance to get it to the range. However I have been dry firing it. No clue on SAS, but perhaps a bit lower due to lower demand. P365 are pretty popular despite the market not exactly being on fire at the moment. No warranty on a used gun, something to bear in mind.Its not cheap but i wanted an all metal p365 with grip panel grips for almost 3 years and now i have one. I love the Wilson Combat grip and i do think it will be the standard going forward but this is an incredible addition to the p365 and gives you the feel of a much larger gun. the weight is so nice and i imagine it will be a joy to shoot.For the large majority of the time, my P365 rides is a Vedder LightTuck AIWB holster at the 1 o'clock position. This is for all day carry and driving. It is very comfortable under a tee shirt.
